$2.5 Million DOE Grant for Emergency Responder Training on MHD ZEVs

Dr. Pan served as the primary proposal writer and helped Dr. Xianbiao (XB) Hu obtain a $2.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy.

This proposal focuses on developing training programs for emergency responders who work with medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles (MHD ZEVs). The project aims to enhance safety, operational readiness, and public confidence in ZEV technology through immersive and interactive training methods.
